- Social Model of Disability – and how to apply the principles in your PA role .
- The difference between the PA employment role versus more traditional care settings.
- The importance of using appropriate language.
- Understanding roles and relationships and identifying relationship boundaries.
- Exploring potential dilemmas that could arise in your employment relationship.
- The importance of communication, how to respond to your employer’s needs.
- Basic understanding of SDS and what it means!
